Peter brings deep expertise and insight to his college planning work with students from all over the world. In a twenty-five year career as a lead administrator, Dean and Director of College Counseling, admissions officer, teacher, coach, and dorm parent in leading independent schools in Boston, Miami, and San Francisco, Peter brings a depth of experience that serves our entire team meaningfully in his role as Chair of our College Planning Practice.
In his boarding and day school roles in three of the most globally-oriented cities in the US, Peter has worked as the primary college counselor and consultant with over 1000 students from countries and educational systems all over the world, from Asia, to Eastern and Western Europe, to South and Central America, to Canada, and he has helped his students enroll in top universities all over the globe.
Informed by his passion for facilitating student growth through the admissions journey, Peter enjoys leveraging his impressive depth of experience in college and school admissions on behalf of the students and families he guides through the planning, search, and application process. He’s also built meaningful relationships with admissions professionals throughout the US, Canada, and Europe and loves connecting his students to the best schools, and the best schools for them.
A graduate of Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in English and American Literature, and a master’s in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Peter continues to travel in his role for McMillan, and deeply values the global reach of his role.
